she kept on talking bout the colors of night
tho' shes long gone I still remember her name
she died so young & it didnt seem right
she always used to talk about the colors of night

she used to jam for hours with her rock and roll band
they played a couple gigs at the whiskey I know
it never caught on but they sounded real tight
